公募要領 　Application Guidelines

令和５年度卓越研究員事業の公募を行います。
申請者（若手研究者）は、公募要領等を確認の上、申請期間内に電子申請システムにて申請手続を完了してください。

Public offering of Leading Initiative for Excellent Young Researchers (LEADER) in FY 2023 is held.
Applicants should check the application procedure and apply by the application deadline.

申請方法　Application method

本事業への申請は、電子申請システムを通じて行います。
申請期間内に、以下の電子申請システム操作手引きに従って電子申請システム用（卓越研究員事業専用）ＩＤ及びパスワードを取得し、電子申請システムへログインの上、申請を完了してください。
なお、候補者資格の継続申請を行う場合は、ID を新たに取得せず、候補者決定時の ID にてログインし申請期間内に申請を完了してください。候補者資格の継続を希望する場合、審査の希望有無に合わせて、申請方法が異なります。詳しくは、以下の操作手引２、もしくは３を確認してください。

Applications for LEADER must be submitted through the electronic application system.
Please obtain your ID and password (LEADER only), login to the electronic application system, and complete the application during the application period stated below.
If you wish to apply for the continuation of EYR candidate eligibility, do not obtain a new ID, log in with the ID you used to determine the candidate. If you wish to be re-examined in FY 2023,the application method will be different. Please refer to the following operating manuals No.2 or 3.
期限を過ぎた場合は、いかなる理由があっても一切受け付けることができません。ご注意ください。
After the deadline, no applications will be accepted for any reason. Please take careful note of this.

令和５年５月12日（金）10時～令和５年６月15日（木）17時（日本時間：期限厳守）
From 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 to 5:00p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023 （JST：strict deadline）

新規の申請の場合と、候補者資格の継続申請の場合で操作手引が異なりますので、該当する操作手引きをよく読んで、手続きを行ってください。
The operating manual is different for new applications and for continued eligibility application as an EYR candidate. Please make sure you read the relevant operating manual carefully before proceeding.

令和５年６月１日（木）17時 　（日本時間：期限厳守）
令和５年度の審査のため追加申請を希望する場合は、候補者資格の継続申請を完了させた上で、上記の連絡期限までに、別途指定するウェブフォームより連絡することが必要です。連絡の上、研究者の申請期間内に追加申請を完了させてください。詳しくは、操作手引を確認してください。

To 5:00p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023 （JST：strict deadline）
If you wish to continue the EYR candidate eligibility and be re-examined in FY 2023, after completing the application for the continuation, you need contact us from the specified web-form by 5:00p.m., on Thursday, June 1, 2023 (JST：strict deadline). For details, please refer to the  operating manual.

この様式は、文部科学省において定められたものです。各項目欄について、指定されたもの以外の項目の新設、記入しない項目の省略等、様式に加工を施すことはできません。
なお、各様式は、お使いの個々の動作環境によって、不自然な罫線のずれや改行、または文字化け等不具合が発生する場合があります。個々の動作環境にかかるお問い合わせには応じかねますので、その場合はお手数ですが適宜修正を施してご使用ください。

These forms have been set up by MEXT. Please don’t change the format such as adding new items or omitting items that are not entered.
Depending on the operating environment, some problems may occur in the display of the forms. In such cases, JSPS cannot respond to inquiries about individual operating environments.  It is necessary to correct by yourself.
「様式１別紙（申請概要）」「様式２（研究計画等）」は本会様式を以下よりダウンロードして作成し、電子申請システムに登録します。それ以外のものについては、電子申請システム上で入力しますので見本を掲載します。
"Form 1 Attachment" and "Form 2" are created by downloading the prescribed form from the following and register in the electronic application system.
研究分野・研究内容一覧は、申請者が申請の際、その専門とする分野に従い、申請書類に入力すべき研究分野・研究内容を示しています。 また、キーワード表は、研究内容を理解しやすくするための参考であり、例に掲げられていない内容の申請を排除するものではありません。
Table of Research field/Research content shows research fields and research contents for filling out the application form . In addition, Keyword list offers some examples related research contents. They help applicants understand the concrete Research contents. However, it does not exclude field of contents of which are not included the examples.
