JSPS Alumni Association of Indonesia (JAAI) which was established in 2016 is the 17th association among 20 JSPS Alumni Association in the world. Now, JAAI grew to having 200 Members, making it one of the largest Alumni Associations in Southeast Asia. The objectives of JAAI are (1) to promote scientific exchange and research, and cultural collaboration between Indonesia, Japan, and other countries; (2) to encourage establishing collaborative networks between the JSPS alumni with Japanese and other country partners through organizing scientific meeting and symposia; (3) to conduct social services. JAAI focuses on the research topics of Food and Health, New and Renewable Energy, Environment and Related Sciences, and Human and Social Sciences.
