Background:
In FY2008, JSPS held UK-Japan Frontiers of Science Symposium with the Royal Society of UK to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Anglo-Japanese Treaty of Amity and Commerce. Building upon this success, subsequent symposiums were held in 2016 (UK) and 2019 (Japan). The event brought together outstanding Japanese and British researchers in all the fields of science.
