Researchers  who wish to apply should complete the procedures through the JSPS Electronic Application System.

1. Download the designated application file (Word) from the “Application Guidelines / Application Forms” page and prepare the document.
2. Log in to the electronic application system and enter the required information in the application input screen.
3. In the “Select Application File” section of the electronic application system, select and upload the application file you prepared in Step 1.
4. Review all information, and if there are no errors, follow the on-screen instructions to submit the application.

Please note: The application form will be submitted to the JSPS after approval by your affiliated institution.

The Application Guidelines for the Researcher Exchange Program are posted on the website from late May to early June each year, and the application period closes from late August to early September.
Please note that some affiliated institutions may have earlier internal deadline.
