Application Procedures
From "The Review Section Table (Table for Basic Section) of the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI)”, select one Basic Section (01010-90150) that is most relevant to the proposed research project as the “Firstly related to Basic Section.” In addition, you may optionally select one other Basic Section as the “Secondly related to Basic Section” if it is considered the next most relevant.
Application Forms
The Research Proposal Document consists of the following two parts: "Items to be entered in the Website" and "Forms to be uploaded".
1. Application Forms (items to be entered in the Website)
The Research Proposal Document (items to be entered in the Website: "Research Project Information", "Research Expenditure and Description of Each Expenditure Category", and "The Status of Application and Acquisition of Research Grants") must be filled out by the Principal Investigator on the web-based forms of the JSPS Electronic Application System.

2. Application Forms (forms to be uploaded)
The Research Proposal Document (forms to be uploaded) must be prepared by the principal investigator using the following forms and uploaded to the JSPS Electronic Application System.
