R053 Committee on Collaboration Platform of Design, Measurement and Analysis

Aims and Goals

To establish a new collaborative platform enabling an efficient implementation of measurement and analysis and organic use of the results, we examine the necessary systems through industry-academia cooperation.

Research Themes

Measurement analysis can be divided into three processes: Planning, Measurement, and Analysis. To achieve a collaborative platform that allows for specialization in each process and coordination between them, it is essential to establish methods for sharing and communicating information that includes the data generated in each process. Therefore, we will examine the integration of data generated in each process, as well as the methods for sharing and communicating data between processes. This includes determining the positioning and quality representation (data passport) of each data, as well as the association of metadata that indicates the scope of usability (data scope). Additionally, we will discuss and organize ontologies related to measurement and analysis technologies that have international applicability, considering the potential for international expansion of the collaborative platform.
