Recipient

One researcher who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of basic research in the field of "Biology of Symbiosis (interspecific interactions)".
Please note that this prize is awarded in recognition of an individual's lifetime research achievements, and only one individual is eligible to receive the award.
The award ceremony and a commemorative symposium are held each year, and the prize recipient is expected to attend both these events.
A certificate, medal and a prize of ten million (10,000,000) yen is given to the recipient at the ceremony.
