Frontiers of Science (FoS) Symposium is a lodge-style international Symposium for up-and-coming young scientists from Japan and other countries to engage in interdisciplinary discussions on cutting-edge scientific topics. The aims of FoS are to foster leaders for the next generations and to create networks that connect the young researchers with the world's leading scientists. The Japanese-French Frontiers of Science (JFFoS) Symposium is a joint initiative of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and JSPS.

The 12th JFFoS Symposium featured presentations on six cutting-edge topics, each followed by lively Q&A sessions.
