14th Annual Meeting of the Global Research Council Held in Bangkok

The 14th Annual Meeting of the Global Research Council (GRC) was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 20–21, 2026.

The Global Research Council (GRC) is an international organization dedicated to fostering cross-border collaboration and communication in research and science policy.

The GRC Annual Meeting is a forum that brings together the heads of research funding agencies from around the world. At the 14th Annual Meeting, discussions were held on two key topics: Open Science and Research for Sustainable Communities. Following these discussions, the GRC Statements of Principles, reflecting their outcomes, were endorsed. Participating GRC organizations aim to enhance their respective research funding programs and systems in accordance with these Statements.
