The 16th HOPE Meeting was held at PACIFICO Yokohama from 9 to 13 March 2025. On the first day, 9 March, participants attended the Nobel Prize Dialogue Tokyo 2025.

HOPE Meetings are an "intellectual camp" where young researchers selected from Asia-Pacific and Africa meet and interact with prominent researchers, including Nobel laureates, as well as their peers. This year, 100 outstanding doctoral students and young researchers selected from 20 countries and regions in Asia-Pacific and Africa participated in the meeting.
Over the course of five days, young scientists from diverse cultural backgrounds and research fields engaged in lively discussions and dialogues through a series of events, including lectures by six Nobel Laureates, group discussions, and team presentations.
