The recipient of the 40th (2024) International Prize for Biology Announced

On July 23, 2024, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (President: Sugino Tsuyoshi) convened a meeting of the International Prize for Biology Committee (Chair: Dr. Fujiyoshi Yoshinori, Distinguished Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University) and decided to award the 40th International Prize for Biology to Dr. Angelika Brandt, 62, Germany. Dr. Brandt is a Professor at the Senckenberg Research Institute and Natural History Museum Frankfurt and at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany.
