The 14th JSPS Ikushi Prize Award Ceremony Held in Tokyo

The 14th JSPS Ikushi Prize Award Ceremony was held at Meiji Kinenkan in Tokyo on February 28, 2024. The Ceremony was attended by Their Imperial Highnesses Prince and Princess Akishino, MEXT Senior Deputy Minister Mr. MASUKO Hiroshi, representing MEXT Minister Dr. MORIYAMA Masahito, as well as distinguished guests from all walks of Japanese society, and was a resounding success.
The JSPS Ikushi Prize is awarded to outstanding doctoral students in all fields of science, including the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, who are expected to contribute to the development of scientific research in Japan in the future. This year, the Prize was awarded to 18 outstanding young researchers.
