JSPS will generally provide disaster-related announcements through this website. However, if the site becomes inaccessible or cannot be updated, updates may be shared through our official X account (external site) instead.

For fellows of JSPS programs—including the Research Fellowship for Young Researchers, the Postdoctoral Fellowships for Research in Japan, foreign researchers invited under JSPS programs, and other program participants deemed by JSPS to require safety confirmation—we may contact you to confirm your safety.

During disasters and emergencies, telephone lines may become difficult to connect due to network congestion, and unstable conditions may delay or prevent email delivery.
