Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Short-term)

Researchers who are citizens or permanent residents of the US, Canada, European Union countries, Switzerland, Norway or Russia and who are scheduled to receive a PhD within 2 years or have received one within the past 6 years

Postdoctoral Fellowship Program (Standard)

Researchers who received a PhD within the past 6 years

 

Summer Program

Researchers from the US, Canada and designated European countries who are enrolled in a university graduate program or have received a PhD within the past 6 years

Pathway to University Positions in Japan

Researchers who received a PhD within the past 10 years and who have desire to continue engaging in research and education at the host institution in a full-time employment capacity.

Invitation Fellowships for Research in Japan (Long-term)

Researchers who received a PhD 6 or more years ago or who have a substantial record of university research experience

 

Invitation Fellowships for Research in Japan (Short-term)

Senior researchers with a substantial record of research achievements

 

Invitation Fellowships for Research in Japan (Long-term)

Researchers who are Nobel laureates or recipients of similarly high-level international prizes with exceptionally outstanding records of research achievements and who currently occupy a leading position in their subject field.
