Frontline Scientific Research Projects Advanced in JAPAN

We have published the booklet that introduces the large-scale research projects newly selected in FY 2010 in the categories Specially Promoted Research, which supports research expected to yield particularly outstanding results, as well as Scientific Research (S), which is the next largest category in terms of grant amount. (For detailed information of these categories, click "Types of Grants Programs".)
It is hoped that this booklet will help to enhance understanding of research activities in universities and other research institutions in Japan.
