SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Biology and Diagnosis Program Area organized three joint seminars:
1) Transmembrane Signal Transduction and Cell Proliferation, 2) Cell Biology of Host's Anti-tumor Response, and 3) Gene Manipulation in Malignant Cells. In addition, this area sponsored three visits by Japanese scientists to the United States.
