Background and Objectives　趣旨

  JSPS holds Japan-Brazil Symposium on Research Collaboration　-　organized by JSPS and FAPESP　-　 in order to promote international research collaboration between the two countries.
  The symposium aims to support the development of a network for researchers between the two countries to discuss the following four themes:
  本会は、日本ブラジル両国の学術国際交流を支援するため、日ブラジル学術協力シンポジウムを開催します。

  本シンポジウムでは、以下の４つのテーマで日本ブラジル両国の研究者が講演し、日ブラジル学術研究ネットワーク構築に資することを目標とします。
  Theme 1. Culture and Society 文化と社会
  Theme 2. Economy and Development 経済と開発
  Theme 3. Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation 生物多様性と環境保全
  Theme ４. Medicine and Pharmacology 医学・薬学
