SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
Our focus has been on the differences and similarities between the tow countries in the frequencies of specific cancers, and exploring the differences for new research opportunities. Exchange scientist are selected to expand ideas that originate at the workshops. From April 1997 to March 1998 one workshop was held, and two exchange Scientists were sent from Japan to the United States in this Program Area.
