SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
Our focus has been on the difference and similarities between the two countrics in the frequencies of specific cancers, and on exploring the differences for new research opportunities. From April 1995 to March 1096 two workshops were held and once exchange scientist was sent from Japan to the United States in this Program Area. Highlights of 31 workshops, 1981-1991, were published: Jpn J Cancer Res 87:221-226,1996.
