ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT

This report summarizes activities of the US-Japan Cooperative Cancer Research Program for the Japanese Fiscal Year 1995, the period between April 1, 1995 and March 31, 1996.
The Program consists of the following program areas:

I. Etiology
II. Biology and Diagnosis
III. Treatment
IV. Interdisciplinary

The US-Japan Bilateral Agreement calls for the organization of seminars and workshops, exchange of scientists for information exchange, and materials. Detailed discussions of these activities will be reported under specific program areas. The tables compiled in this section represent overall summaries for quick review. They should be self-explanatory.
To discuss policy matters and program activities, the Joint Steering Committee of the Program meets once every year. The third meeting of the fifth five-year period (April 1, 1994 to March 31, 1999) was held on March 27, 1997, in Bethesda, Maryland.
