SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
Our focus has been on the differences and similarities between the two countries in the frequencies of specific cancers, and on exploring the differences for new research opportunities. Exchange scientists are selected to expand ideas that originate at the workshops. From April 1994 to March 1995 two workshops were held, and two Exchange Scientists were sent from Japan to the United States in this Program Area.
