SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Biology and Diagnosis Program Area organized three joint seminars: 1) Self-non-self discrimination in the immune system, 2) Signal transduction from plasma membrane to the nucleus, and 3) Transcription factors in lymphocyte development and malignancy In addition, this area sponsored three visits by Japanese scientists to the United States.
