SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES

The three seminars held this year in the Treatment Program Area reflected timely topics. A review of progression in Radiation Oncology provided an important forum for information exchange (which occurs only once every few years). Secondly, attention was devoted to an entirely new therapeutic strategy, that of differentiation therapy. Thirdly, a seminar on dose intense therapy with hematopoietic growth factor support was held.
