SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Biology and Diagnosis Program Area organized three joint seminars:
1) Receptor-mediated Modulation of Lymphocyte Growth and Activation, 2) Programmed cell death in cancer and T cell repertoire selection, and 3) Mucin and other Cancer-associated Carbohydrate Antigens Related to Cell Biology. In addition, this area sponsored three visits by Japanese scientists to the United States.
