SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Biology and Diagnosis Program Area organized three joint seminars:
1) Antigen presentation and immune cell interaction, 2) Signal transduction and gene regulation in cancer, and 3) Molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis and tumor progression. In addition, this area sponsored three visits by Japanese scientists to the United States.
