SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Treatment Program Area continues to direct its attention to a broad range of therapeutic topics, including new chemotherapy, combined modality approaches, biochemical pharmacology, and application of modern medical technologies. Chief emphasis remains on scientific seminars and exchange of scientists in selected areas. During the past year three seminars were held dealing with treatment of hematologic tumors, new drugs under development, and neo-adjuvant and adjuvant chemotherapy.
