SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Biology and Diagnosis Program Area organized two joint seminars. The first of these was a joint meeting of the Immunology” and Diagnosis” areas entitled: “Molecular Mechanisms of Lymphoid Cell Activation and Application to Tumor Immunology.” The second meeting was in the “Cell Biology” area and was entitled: “(to be furnished by Dr. Pastan)”. In addition, this area sponsored four visits by Japanese scientists to the United States.
