SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES
The Treatment Program Area of the US-Japan Cooperative Cancer Research Program continues to explore the entire range of new therapeutic options, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, biological response modifiers, and combined modality approaches. The primary emphasis remains the scientific seminars and exchange of selected scientists. Three seminars were held during the past reporting year, dealing with innovative Radiation Therapy, Biochemical Modulation, and General Issues of Drug Development.
