PLANS FOR FUTURE MEETINGS

At the business meeting held on November 6, 1981, at Gettysburg, the following three seminars were proposed for 1982 fiscal year.

1. Seminar on Cancer Chemotherapy and Annual Program Review
San Francisco, California; November 1982
Organizers: Stephen K. Carter and Yoshio Sakurai
2. Seminar on Radiation Oncology
Chiba and Kyoto; October 1982
Organizers: Glenn Sheline and Mitsuyuki Abe
3. Seminar on Treatment of Gastro-intestinal Tumors, including hepatic carcinoma
Hawaii; August 1982
Organizers: Not decided

Above schedule is still a tentative one, and may be modified according to the course of events. The following changes have been proposed by the end of 1981 fiscal year, March 1982.
a) The seminar on Treatment of Gastro-intestinal Tumors was deleted from the activities in 1982 fiscal year.
b) Instead, personnel exchange project will take place: from Japan, Makoto Ogawa, M.D., and Hisashi Majima, M.D., will be sent to NCI's meetings on clinical trials.
c) The meeting place of Seminar on Cancer Chemotherapy and Annual Program Review will be held in Bethesda, Maryland.
