Strategic Young Researcher Overseas Visits Program for Accelerating Brain Circulation
All fields of the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences
| (1) | Japanese universities, inter-university research institute corporations, junior colleges and colleges of technology | |
| (2) | Independent administrative institutions and other institutions which conduct scientific research or R&D activities | |
| (3) | Research institutions in private sector | |
| * (2) and (3) are required eligibility to apply for Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (KAKENHI) |
1 - 3 years
| - | (1) Travel fee for young researchers and (2) research expenses for international joint research | |
| - | Up to 30 million Japanese yen / year / project |
| - | (1) Researchers and (2) doctoral students affiliated with an eligible Japanese university or research institute (up to 45 years of age in principle) | |
| - | Tenure of visits overseas: more than 1 year in principle |
From about 30 to 40 openly recruited projects
