1. What prompted you decide to participate in the "JSPS Science Dialogue" program?
I was interested to communicate with Japanese society and share my opinions with young people.
2. To what did you give greatest attention in preparing and giving the lecture?
My greatest attention was to present the information in visually understandable way according to the level of the knowledge of high school students.
3. Did you find it difficult to give a lecture in English to Japanese students? Could you give some advice to future lecturers on how to facilitate communication with Japanese students?
It was not difficult because the students had a lot of help in the face of their teachers and the kind assistance I received from my Japanese colleague. My only advice is for another presenters to use a lot of visual information in their lectures.
4. Could you give your impression with regard to participating in this program?
I had good feeling after this lecture and I think the experience was useful.
5. Was it meaningful in terms of your fellowship activities?
Yes, because I learnt how to explain complicated things in a simpler way and to summarize information about the subject, in which I am involved.
6. In what ways do you think the students benefited from the program?
The main benefit is communication with the people with different culture.
7. Could you give some overall advice or comments to future participants in the program?
I recommend the participation in this program because it is interesting to share knowledge with young people and to exchange experience with different culture.
