1. What prompted you decide to participate in the "JSPS Science Dialogue" program?
Cause, I am really interesting to make a speech in front at different audience.
2. To what did you give greatest attention in preparing and giving the lecture?
I did care to prepare my speech base on a few technical words and use a simply vocabulary to communicate my ideas.
3. Did you find it difficult to give a lecture in English to Japanese students? Could you give some advice to future lecturers on how to facilitate communication with Japanese students?
I did not find any difficult and I enjoyed very much. I think, “Speak slowly” is the key word, because it is the only way that you can improve student understanding about the lecture.
4. Could you give your impression with regard to participating in this program?
To my point of view, it is a very interesting program because give to students opportunities to interactions with persons from different culture, life style, ideas, etc.
5. Was it meaningful in terms of your fellowship activities?
Basically this kind of activities have not strong relationships with my personal fellowships, but my main the purposes was give me a chance to talk about difficult theme using simple word, and try to build self confidence in front of new kind of audience.
6. In what ways do you think the students benefited from the program?
In many way but as I wrote above interaction with person from different countries can be an enormous contribution to the student future.
7. Could you give some overall advice or comments to future participants in the program?
Yes!! Relax and enjoy the moment cause in Japan are very few opportunities to have a direct contact with the High School students.
