Held on the theme “Life Sciences,” this fifth HOPE Meeting features lectures by and small group discussions with Prof. Susumu Tonegawa, Prof. Mario Capecchi, and other Nobel laureates and top world-class researchers in an agenda designed to inject the young participants with a boost of stimulus at the onset of their careers.

  Through this HOPE Meeting experience, the participants are expected to go on as colleagues to compete in friendly rivalry in ways that advance science in the Asia-Pacific/African regions and the wider world, while contributing to the realization of abundant and sustainable societies.
