Grants-in-Aid Application Forms

First Step: Enter registration information in JSPS's electronic application system

Click the link to JSPS's electronic application system and enter the required information, including the research title, investigator's name and research organization.

Unfortunately, the JSPS electronic application system is not provided in English this year. Please refer to Procedures for Preparing and Entering Application Information (to be entered in the Website). Although they provide indications of the system and the instruction of operation, it may be difficult to understand how to operate the electronic application system. The grant administrators at your host institution will help you to operate it properly.

Second Step: Fill out the online application form

Download the application form by clicking on either PDF or MS-Word icon in the right-hand column.
Applications forms are provided for the below-listed grant categories. They ask you to describe your proposed research project, including its implementation plan, methodology and objectives.
