JSPS provides a copy of the "Program Guidelines" to all new fellows once JSPS's selection committee has decided to award them a fellowship.

This brochure describes all administrative procedure, benefits and responsibilities that fellows are expected to keep in mind during their tenure. Fellows are asked to read the Guidelines very carefully before they submit their "Notice of Acceptance" notifying JSPS that they accept the fellowship and agree to observe all the conditions stipulated in the guidelines.

The Guidelines may also be of useful reference to researchers who are thinking of applying for a fellowship under this program.
