Overseas researchers are selected under the program based on NSF’s nominations. NSF issues application calls, receives and screens applications, and makes nominations to JSPS. For details, please refer to the webpage of NSF Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW).
JSPS notifies the selectees via NSF and reports the selections to the host institutions.
