SURVEYS				to top

The Center conducts surveys of science-policymaking bureaus and science-promotion agencies in other countries.

EVALUATIONS				to top

The Center conducts evaluations across a broad spectrum of JSPS’s fellowship and grant programs.


photo:		Super-postdoctoral JSPS research fellow give a presentation to the Center’s researchers. The aim of these sessions is to help sustain a high level of research among these gifted fellows, while encouraging them in advancing their work (7 June, 2004).


Drafting Reviewer Lists				to top

The Center’s researchers recommend specialists to review applications for JSPS programs, such as Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, Research Fellowships for Young Scientists, international scientific cooperation, and other JSPS programs.

PUBLICITY				to top

One of the principal roles of the director and deputy directors is to communicate JSPS’s views and policies to academia and the public.
