June 6, 2007NPG Nature Asia-Pacific Networks: Promoting excellence in researchNPG Nature Asia-Pacific Networks: Promoting excellence in research, organized by NPG Nature Asia-Pacific and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), was held on 6 June at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so. Besdes, the Keynote speech by Ryoji Noyori, a President of RIKEN, there was lively debates about strengthening the research networkiing among scientists in the Asia Pacific region in each session (Web Technology & Infrastructure for Networking, Stem Cells, Molecular Technology and Biotechnology, and Nanotechnology). The report of the forum will be carried on the web sites of Nature and broadcasted to the world via Podcast. On the eve of the forum, JSPS held welcome reception for Asian young researchers who were recommended by NPG’s editors.
